Dear colleagues,

The Waterloo Institute for Solarpunk and Hope warmly invites you to our Winter term discussion group, which will focus on the theme Hope.


  *
On Thursday, January 22 from 4-5 p.m. at the Grad House we will discuss the short piece, "A Solarpunk Manifesto<https://re-des.org/a-solarpunk-manifesto/>."
     *
We also recommend the chapter "Hope" by our colleague Jennifer Cleary-Lemon in the anthology Ecological Feelings.

On Thursday, February 19 from 10-11 a.m. at Whoopsie Daisy Drinks in downtown Kitchener (1-1 Victoria St S) to read Becky Chamber's novella A Psalm for the Wild-Built<https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/40864002-a-psalm-for-the-wild-built>.

Copies of the novella can be obtained through Omni, Waterloo Public Library, and the Kitchener Public library.

Thursday, March 19 from 4-5- p.m. at the Grad House: Reading TBA.

On Thursday, April 16 from 2-5 p.m. we will change things up and play the board game Solar Gardens<https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/443283/solar-gardens> at Whoopsie Daisy.
