UWaterloo’s Futures Lab invites students from Arts and all other disciplines to explore how AI technologies can reshape the way we learn and work.

The Futures Lab is accepting applications up to Dec. 15 for the Winter 2026 Futures Lab: An AI+UX Prototyping Workshop<https://uwfutureslab.ca/>!

Sponsored by Google and led by Prof. Edith Law<https://uwaterloo.ca/news/media/google-partners-university-waterloo-shape-future-work> (Computer Science), Futures Lab brings together university students from all disciplines to explore emerging AI technologies. Over 8 weeks, you will examine core facets where AI can transform learning and prototype learning tools.

Eligibility: Undergraduate (mostly 3A and above) and graduate students from all disciplines

When: Jan 30, 2026 - March 27, 2026, Fridays 11:30am-1:30pm

Where: Pearl Sullivan Engineering Building (PSE/E7) Ideas Clinic (Room 2409)
