<a href="http://www.bulletin.uwaterloo.ca/2011/mar/17th.html">new Learning Management System</a> (i.e. the replacement for UW-ACE). The event will be held Tuesday 18 April 2011 from 10:30 a.m. to noon in CEIT, room 1015.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left:36.0pt">Says Jan Willwerth of information systems and technology: "Following an introduction by Geoff McBoyle, provost and vice-president (academic), the LMS Selection Committee and representatives from Desire2Learn will
talk about the migration to the new system, including a demonstration of the new LMS. Attendees will have a chance to ask questions. Please RSVP to lms@ uwaterloo.ca, so we can ensure that we have sufficient refreshments."<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Anyone who uses UW-ACE now will find this session of interest; you’ll be able to see what the new software looks like, and you’ll be able ask questions about the software, how courses will be transferred from ACE to the new system, etc.
Having served on the selection committee for the new software, I know that the committee members (representing IST, CEL, CTE, the Library, and OPD and perhaps a few other acronyms I’ve forgotten) are eager for the campus community to become familiar with the
new system. Since Arts faculty and staff are among the heaviest users of UW-ACE, your interest and feedback would be very much appreciated.<o:p></o:p></p>
