If you can make it, wonderful.)<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText>UW's Critical Media Lab (English) and Collaborative Systems Lab (Systems Design Engineering) invite you to an event this Wednesday, February 17, from 4-8 p.m. This Open House and Charity Event is being held to raise awareness of and gather supplies for the Haitian Relief Kits, being collected by the Mennonite Central Committee (<a href="http://www.southwesternontario.ctv.ca/provincewide.php?id=417">http://www.southwesternontario.ctv.ca/provincewide.php?id=417</a>).<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText>The event will take place at the Critical Media Lab, 191 King St W., Kitchener, at the corner of King & Gaukel, directly across from Kitchener City Hall. Stacey Scott, Director of the CSL, and Neil Randall, acting Director of the CML, have been collaborating on projects related to digital tabletop gaming (imagine playing a board game while sitting around a huge multitouch iPhone or iPad!), and will be demonstrating in-progress research on those technologies as well as showing other research associated with the CML. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText>Other activities (all family friendly) will include board games, large-screen Olympics coverage, and refreshments.
