<div>We hope you're all just as excited as we are for our upcoming events. In the meantime, we would just like to remind you all of some event details, and inform you about some important changes.</div>
<div><br>Just a reminder that our Annual Meet the Profs night is coming up on Tuesday, October 13th in the Grad House. It will take place from 4:30 to 7 in the Upper Lounge, so anyone with night classes can attend! Feel free to drop by at anytime to mingle with your fellow students and chat with your Anthropology professors over some beverages and snacks! The purpose of this evening is for you to get a chance to meet your Department and familiarize yourself with the Anthropology program and its students (if you happen to be new to UW and wondering what to major in)! No need to RSVP to this event; just arrive!</div>
<div><br>Also, we would like to remind you that our Zoo Trip is coming up on Sunday, October 25th. We will be meeting in the SLC by the Turnkey Desk at 9am, and we will be returning to UW by 5pm. <strong>Unfortunately, we were just informed that the student admission fee has suddenly increased from $5 to $9, so we have to raise the price of each student to $24 ($15 to pay for the bus, $9 to pay for the admission fee).</strong> We're really sorry for this price increase, and if you have any concerns regarding that, please contact us! </div>
<div><br>PLEASE RSVP TO <a href="mailto:uwanthsoc@gmail.com">uwanthsoc@gmail.com</a> TO LET US KNOW IF YOU'RE COMING. All fees must be given to either Brittany Hart or Erin Stieler by TUESDAY, OCTOBER 20TH. If you RSVP and realize later that you cannot make it, please let us know! There are only 30 spots available, and we can always use your spot for another student to fill. <br>

<div><br>In addition, AnthSoc would also like to remind you that the Ontario Archaeological Society (OAS) conference is coming up, and we are looking for student volunteers for the event! The event begins Friday night (October 16th) and lasts until Sunday night (October 18th). We have a number of shifts available still, and if you volunteer the whole Saturday, you can attend the entire Sunday for free! Please let us know if you're interested in volunteering, and we'll send you a list of shifts that are open. </div>
<div><br>Lastly, we would like to inform you that our Lounge hours will be in affect as of this week! Please stop by our Lounge (PAS 2007, in the Anthropology Department), to see our hours as posted on the door. During these hours, you can drop by and hang out with your fellow students, purchase some snacks, receive program advice, or just chill and study.</div>
