The First Nations Community Well-being Index

similar
methodology as the HDI, which utilizes indicators of education, income,
labour

well as
being able to identify the diversity of First Nation communities in
terms of
socio-economic status, the CWB index can assess determinants and
correlates of
well-being. Analysis of CWB over time can help assess changes in
community
well-being, impacts of specific programs or policies, and monitoring in
relation to the long-term departmental objectives of improving the
quality of
life, sustainability, and self-reliance of First Nation communities.
