Research Assistant <br>

Part-time Position <br>
<br>
Professor Thomas Abler requires the services of two or three
undergraduate research assistants, winter term, 2007. The project
involves examining the description of particular cultures in
introductory texts in Social and Cultural Anthropology. These students
must commit themselves to work from eight to ten hours per week for ten
weeks. Applicants must be 3rd or 4th year students in Anthropology with
an interest in reading ethnography. Library skills and familiarity with
entry of text into computer files are also expected. Pay is $10.00 per
hour.<br>

paper or by e-mail your name, a list of the courses in socio-cultural
anthropology you are taking or have taken, and information how you may
be contacted. It is possible you will be asked to be interviewed for
the position.<br>

It is hoped that the positions will be filled, and work begun, during
the week of January 15-19.<br>
