Volunteers – Tues MARCH 14<sup>th</sup><o:p></o:p></span>

<p class="MsoNormal">We need your help during Campus Day 2006! Campus
Day is an
annual open-house event for prospective students who want a glimpse of
life at
the <st1:place><st1:placetype>University</st1:placetype> of <st1:placename>Waterloo</st1:placename></st1:place>.
Your job will be to tell them about the great Anthropology program that
UW has.
There is a sign up sheet on the door of the Anthropology Society lounge
(<span defanged_style="">PAS Building Room 2007)</span>. As little as
one hour of your time would be a great help to the department.</p>

Reminder – Sat. March 11<span defanged_style=""> </span>!!!!!!!!!!!</p>
<blockquote>Admission is $6:00 for adults. We will meet at south Campus
Hall outside of the bookstore at <st1:time minute="30" hour="11">11:30am</st1:time>.<span
defanged_style=""> </span>Unfortunately we will not be able to
guarantee
rides, but if you would like to come and do not have a car, feel free
to contact me and I will see if there is someone available to take you
in their car.<span defanged_style=""> </span>If you have a car and
are able to
take extra passengers please let me know.<o:p></o:p>There are no areas
to buy lunch, so if you will be requiring food, please bring it with
you. Also remember to wear comfortable shoes as there is a nature
trail. We plan on returning on or before <st1:time minute="0" hour="16">4pm</st1:time>.<o:p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Rock climbing – On Saturday March 25<sup>th</sup> </p>
<blockquote>
<p class="MsoNormal">We will be having a rock climbing event at
Sportsworld in <st1:place><st1:placename>Pioneer</st1:placename> <st1:placetype>Park</st1:placetype></st1:place>
on Saturday March 25th
starting at <st1:time minute="0" hour="10">10:00 am</st1:time>. If you
aren't
feeling energetic, bring $10 for two climbs but if you are really
feeling like
clinging and leaping bring $20 for the day. There is a restaurant there
to
re-energize. Don't worry if you haven't climbed before. A number of
people have
experience and will be happy to “show you the ropes”. Please RSVP to me
before
then so that I can let them know how many of us are going. Directions

<p class="MsoNormal">End of Term Mixer – March 31<sup>st –</sup>
location to be
determined<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Students and professors are all invited to
attend our End of
Term Mixer. It will be a single location as opposed to a crawl. Come
out and
share in your experiences through this year, your summer plans and of
course
food and drink. There will be an email when plans are firmed up on this
one.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Heads-up – We will be looking for some new
executive members
for AnthSoc next year so keep your eyes & ears peeled for news
about our
first meeting in September!</p>
